How it works

  1. Prepare your signature as the notification describes (see “The same guidelines also ask” below), then scan it or take a clear, well-lit picture of it.
  2. Choose the image and drag or zoom so the signature fills the frame. The frame has the 140:60 shape, so nothing is stretched.
  3. Tap “Process signature”. We resize to exactly 140 × 60 pixels, compress to fit 10–20 KB at the best possible quality, and write 200 DPI into the file.
  4. Check the results list, download the JPG and upload it in the signature field of the IBPS application.

The same guidelines also ask:

  • Sign on white paper with a black ink pen.
  • Don't sign in CAPITAL LETTERS; the signature must be clearly visible.
  • The signature must be your own. A signature at the exam that doesn't match the uploaded one can lead to disqualification.

Common problems this fixes

Signature too small in the frame
Zoom in so the signature fills most of the frame. Blank paper around it stays in the image and makes it harder to read.
File is below 10 KB
Dark ink on plain white paper compresses to small files. We keep the highest-quality version and tell you if it is below 10 KB, instead of adding artificial data. A sharper scan or photo usually helps.
What the tool can't check
The tool checks size, file size, format and DPI. It can't check whether you signed in black ink, in capital letters, or whether it is your own signature. Follow the notification's instructions for those.
